The Outlaws return a lot of experience on both sides of the ball this season. Seven players with starting experience are back on offense, including slot receiver Peyton Ladon (5-4, 135, Sr.). Ladon is a quick and elusive receiver and an outstanding baseball player. Tag Allen (5-11, 195, Sr.) also returns to the passing game and is a real speedster on the field. He was the leading receiver last year as a junior and is another outstanding baseball player. Sam Ivory (5-11, 190, Sr.) starts at tailback and was the team’s leading rusher last season. Ivory is a standout track star at Marlow. Chase Knight (5-8, 155, Jr.) is another tailback the Outlaws have in their arsenal. Tyler New (6-3, 190, Sr.) is a big target at outside receiver. Jack Mitchell (6-0, 225, Jr.) gets the start at center and is known for being a weight room addict. “We should play with great confidence,” said coach Matt Weber. “Most of our kids are multi-sport athletes with great statewide seasons in many sports last year. The team comes in with a lot of experience in varsity sports action.”

Nine starters are back for the Outlaws on defense. Seth Aguilera (6-2, 245, Sr.) is a strong college prospect at defensive end. Jayce Martin (6-1, 205, Sr.) starts opposite Aguilera and should get some attention this season as well. Carson Moore (6-0, 210, Jr.) and Nate Herchock (6-1, 185, Jr.) start at linebacker. Moore had started since his freshman season and is the team’s leading tackler. Herchock is a fast athlete that can drop in coverage when necessary. Junior Marroquin (5-6, 160, Jr.) had a great sophomore season and is a big hitter from his strong safety spot. Branson Seaton (5-10, 175, Sr.) is a two-way player athletic enough to play linebacker or safety.
