Carnegie’s Laurynn Hayden – Athlete of the Month Presented by Caddo Kiowa Technology Center

Varsity softball player and Caddo Kiowa Technology Center student Laurynn Hayden is a senior at Carnegie High School. In her final year as a Lady Cat, Hayden is looking forward to competing with her teammates and finishing the Cosmetology program at CKTC.

“Caddo Kiowa had to offer what I would like to do in my future,” said Hayden. “Cosmetology is something I would like to do after I graduate! I would also like to own my own shop too.”

Hayden is a busy student. Not only does she play for the fastpitch softball team, she’s also a cheerleader and is a member of the Native American Heritage Club.

Hayden said her grandmother is someone special in her life. She looks up to her and is always encouraged by her words.

“My grandma has a big influence on my life. She is always there encouraging me to do my best in anything I do. She is my biggest supporter,” said Hayden.

At Caddo Kiowa Tech, Hayden has enjoyed her time as a student and is ready to implement everything she has learned from her instructors.

“I have enjoyed learning all the new stuff I didn’t know. It is always fun learning knew stuff,” said Hayden.

After she graduates from Carnegie High School, Hayden plans to continue her education.

“I do plan of attending college somewhere, but I’m still looking at my options on where,” said Hayden.

In her free time, Hayden enjoys being with friends and putting her skills to work.

“In my free time I like to be doing something hair and being with my friends!”
