Mt. View-Gotebo’s Levi Sechrist – Caddo Kiowa Technology Center Athlete of the Month

Levi Sechrist is a junior at Mountain View-Gotebo High School and a student at Caddo Kiowa Technology Center where he is enrolled in the HVAC Program. Sechrist has many other activities on his list of things to do. He plays football and basketball for the Tigers, rodeo’s (tie down) and he is involved in FFA.

“I would like to attend a college and be a part of its rodeo team,” said Sechrist.

As a student at Caddo Kiowa Tech, Sechrist enjoys the HVAC program and said it may be something he does once he graduates or some time in the future.

“I have only been in the program for a week, but I really like my instructor Mr. Lester and we are learning all the parts of a unit and learning how to braze,” said Sechrist. “The reason Caddo Kiowa Tech was right for me is because I wanted to learn the trade of HVAC and it was convenient. HVAC is for sure something I would like to pursue after I graduate.”

Sechrist said his parents have always been a big influence in his life whether its in school, sports or rodeo.

“My parents have both been great influences in my life in every way they always keep me straight and tell what’s right and wrong. They lead by example as well. I would not be where I am today without them,” said Sechrist.
